Step by Step Guide

1. 'Click File' and select 'Add Account' under the 'Info' tab. The 'Your Name' field should include the name you want to appear on the recipient's email program when you send them an email (this doesn't have to be the same as your email address).

In 'Account Type' select 'POP3'. In the 'Incoming Mail Server' field you should insert mail.yourdomain (example: mail.itseeze.co.uk). For the 'Outgoing Mail Server' it should be smtp.yourdomain.co.uk.

*Please note that sometimes mail2/smtp2 is used instead, if this is the case then it will be clearly stated in the email log in/set up mail that you are sent when your Itseeze site goes live.*

The 'Username' field should be filled in with your entire email address, for example domains@itseeze.co.uk. The requested password will be the password to log into your mailbox that you were sent along with your user name.
2. Now we need to change some more advanced settings, click the 'More Settings' button in the bottom right hand corner. In the 'Outgoing Server' tab ensure that your settings match the screen grab below.
3. In the 'Advanced' tab, ensure that the incoming server is set to port 110, and the outgoing server is set to 25.

In the 'Delivery' sub-menu, ensure that 'Leave a copy of messages on the server' and 'remove from server' when deleted from 'Deleted Items' are ticked.

Now click 'OK' and you'll be returned to the previous window.
4. Now you're back at the 'Internet Email Settings' window, on the right hand side there is a 'Test Account Settings' button. Click on this button and Outlook will test your settings are correct by sending you a test message. If everything is fine, it'll display a message like above and you can click 'Next'.
5. Outlook will now finish setting your mailbox up and when complete you will receive a message like the one shown above. Congratulations you now have a fully functioning mailbox!
