Q: Our business offers security services and training as well. I want to start blogging on my it’seeze website – should I create a separate blog about our services and another about training?
A: No, you only need one central blog on your website. This will make it easier for your website visitors to find all your latest blog posts, as these will all be in one easily accessible place.
It will also make it easier for you to keep your blog up to date, as you’ll only have one blog to add new posts to.
The best way to differentiate between the blog posts relating to your services and the blog posts relating to the training you provide is to use blog tags.
Blog tags are great for categorising your blog posts, and make it possible for visitors to your blog to find the exact content they’re looking for.
You can add tags to your blog post using the metadata window. All tags will then be shown at the bottom of your main blog page, making it easy for readers to navigate to the topic they want.

Did you know that longer blog posts typically rank much higher in Google’s search results?
Writing around 500 words for a blog post is perfectly acceptable, especially when sharing your latest company update or commenting on recent news from your industry.
However, if you’re really serious about optimising your website for search engines, it’s a good idea to plan a couple of in-depth articles that are at least 1500-2000 words in length. Don’t forget to pepper these with relevant keywords that you want your business to appear in the search results for.
Of course, you shouldn’t try and write a long blog post just for the sake of it. Try to create something that will have real value for your readers; such as a step-by-step guide, a list, a case study, or a comprehensive review of a product or service.
