Customise your website navigation with new page types [9th Jan 2020]

We’re making it even easier for you to personalise your website and simplify your navigation with the introduction of two new page types.

When you go to add a new page to your website, you’ll soon have the option to add a regular page, a heading, or a link to your navigation menu.

Opt for a heading, and you can add a title to your navigation bar that can be used to group pages in a sub-menu – for example, ‘Services’ on the itseeze website.

Opt for a link, and you’ll be able to add a direct link to either a downloadable file – e.g. a PDF document – or an external website – e.g. TripAdvisor, Facebook, etc. – to your website’s navigation bar.

When editing the navigation menu, two new buttons are shown in addition to ‘Create page’ – ‘Create heading’ and ‘Create link’.

Click ‘Create heading’ to enter the heading text and create a heading:

Click ‘Create link’ to enter the link text and address and create a link:

Headings and links can be edited or deleted via the site map window:

These new page types will be available to add to your website (Max and Commerce only) by the end of the week.

Got a Lite website but want to add more pages? You’ll need to upgrade to our Max package - please contact your local consultant or email us for more information.
