What's new?
Dailymotion has changed the behaviour of its embedded player so that all embedded videos now autoplay by default. As a result, the autoplay setting within our multimedia component no longer has any effect for Dailymotion videos.
To reflect this change, we have updated the multimedia component and removed the option to enable or disable autoplay for Dailymotion videos.
This change only affects Dailymotion content. The autoplay settings for other supported video providers remain unchanged.
Why is this valuable?
This update makes the multimedia component easier to use by removing a setting that no longer has any effect. As Dailymotion now manages autoplay automatically, the component only displays options that can be configured, helping to reduce confusion and provide a more intuitive editing experience.
