|Some users are currently experiencing an issue with setting up their email in Outlook and/or sending emails. We believe this may be a bug with the Outlook app and we are currently in conversation with Microsoft to identify the issue and hopefully find a fix.|
Step By Step Guide
Step 1. Open the Outlook app on your device and click 'Get Started'
Step 2. Enter your email address and click 'Add Account'
Step 3: Select IMAP
Step 4. Enter your password and a display name (who people will see emails coming from). Then click 'Use Advanced Settings"
Step 5. Enter the following instructions (also shown in the screenshot)
Email Address - Your email address
Display Name - Who people will see emails coming from
Incoming Server (IMAP Hostname) - Zimbra.protectedservice.net:993
IMAP Username - Your email address
IMAP Password - The password for your email address (that we sent to you)
Outgoing Server (SMTP Hostname) - smtp.protectedservice.net:25 or 587
SMTP Username - Your email address
SMTP Password - The password for your email address (that we sent to you)
And then finally click 'Sign In'
Step 6: Choose whether or not to add another account
Step 7. Complete
