The YouTube component, whose option icon is shown in figure 1, embeds a YouTube video.
YouTube videos are streamed (downloaded only as you view them) through the YouTube video player, as shown in figure 2. This means that you can add videos to your site without worrying about any effect on the time it takes for your pages to load.
Choosing a video
Click anywhere on a YouTube component to display the YouTube window, as shown in figure 3.
The YouTube window lets you change the following settings:
The address of the video on YouTube.
Show video title
Whether the video title is shown in a bar at the top of the player before the video plays and when the video is paused.
Play automatically (video will be muted)
Whether the video plays automatically when the visitor views the page.
Play automatically and loop (video will be muted)
Whether the video plays automatically when the visitor views the page and loops when finished.
A video should only be set to play automatically when it is the dominant content on the page. Visitors may otherwise be confused, particularly if the video can be heard but is not visible without scrolling the page.
Click OK to apply the changes to the video. Click Cancel to return to the page without changing the video.
