The Facebook page widget component, whose option icon is shown in figure 1, embeds a Facebook page widget.
The page widget, as shown in figure 2, shows the details of a Facebook Page. Note that Facebook Pages are different from Facebook personal profiles: if you only have a personal profile, you will need to create a Page. Pages can be recognised by the presence of a Like button; personal profiles have an Add Friend button instead. For more details see Facebook’s Getting Started guide for Pages. Note that only public pages can be shown in the page widget; you can check that your page is public by logging out of Facebook and checking that it is still visible.
Editing a Facebook page widget
Click anywhere on a Facebook page widget to display the Facebook page widget window, as shown in figure 3.
The Facebook page widget window lets you change the following settings:
Page address
The address of the Facebook Page.
Like box type
The type of page widget. Full shows the posts made by the Page and images of its fans. Posts shows only the posts made by the Page. Fans shows only images of the fans of the Page. Link shows a simple link to the Page.
Header
Whether to show a large or small header at the top of the widget.
Click OK to apply the changes to the Facebook page widget. Click Cancel to return to the page without changing the Facebook page widget.
