The gallery component, whose option icon is shown in figure 1, creates a large image with a set of thumbnails (small images) underneath. Moving the mouse over a thumbnail causes the large image to change to a large version of that thumbnail.
An alternative to the image gallery component is to use the lightbox effect on individual image components. This is generally a more popular choice as it takes up less space on the page.
Editing a gallery
After adding a gallery to a page, a black space is displayed where the large image will be shown. Below the black space is a row of option bars, allowing you to add Thumbnail image options. You can add as many thumbnail images as required, and they can be rearranged by dragging between the columns.
