This guide is for the Windows and Mac program Microsoft Outlook 2016.


Before following the below step by step guide, please find the email sent to you which contains your email settings.



Step by Step Guide

 

Enter your email address in the 'Welcome to Outlook' window, click the checkbox labelled 'Let me set up my account manually' and click Connect





On the 'Choose account type' window select IMAP.  






Fill in your account details.  


Incoming mail server: zimbra.protectedservice.net 

Port: 993

Encryption method: SSL/TLS

Ensure the 'Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)' checkbox is selected


Outgoing mail server: smtp.protectedservice.net 

Port: 587

Encryption method: STARTTLS

Ensure the 'Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)' checkbox is selected


When you have entered the relevant details, click Connect.











Enter your username and password.


Username: your email address

Password: your email address password (found in the email we sent you with the subject line 'Webmail / IMAP - [Your company name]')  


Select the checkbox labelled 'Save this password in your password list' and click OK.




On the 'Account setup is complete' window, deselect the checkbox field labelled 'Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone too' and click OK




Outlook will now finish setting your mailbox up and when complete you will receive a message like the one shown asking for your username and password again and this may occur a number of times during the setup process. 




Outlook will now finish setting your mailbox up and when complete you will be taken to your inbox.
