Overview:
In preparation for all parish council websites needing to comply with WCAG standards by 23rd September 2020, Mike and Gemma (Knutsford) targeted local parish councils.

So far, they've had two parish councils sign up for a Max website this month, and had another sign up in July. They also passed several leads from the webinar (see below) on to other franchisees.

What they did:
Gemma and Mike researched names, email addresses, and parish councils for parish clerks in their local area and uploaded all this information into their CRM. This information was all freely available online. They then set up a sequence of 3 emails (see below), all of which were very similar, with slight variations in the subject line. The campaign was set to stop sending when people either opened the email or clicked on the link within the email so as not to appear too spammy. Although Mike and Gemma didn't have time to follow up with a phone call, they did send a text message to everyone that didn't open or click on the emails.

Here is the text message they sent:

They also hosted a national webinar on 3rd July. The webinar was designed to give parish council members all the relevant information about WCAG and why they should use it'seeze rather than our competitors. There was also the option for attendees to download the slides so they could go back to their council committees and use this as a formal tender document. Everyone who registered for the webinar was sent a recording after the event. The webinar slides are attached and here is a link to the forum post where Mike and Gemma gave more details on the webinar and included the email copy: https://support.itseeze.com/support/discussions/topics/17000018226
